Using Living Lab Methodology for change management in real-world organizational contexts

Abstract
Living Lab (LL) and the LL methodology describe an innovation instrument that was launched by the Finish Prime Minister Aho in his term as chairman of the European council. Since then it has been implemented in different contexts: regions, academia and industry. Concepts from several fields such as software engineering, innovation management, management of technology, or knowledge management have been adopted toward finding better partnerships of user/customers in the process of problem identification, solutions co-design, and co-working. LL as well contributes to organizational innovation and change management, which has much less been reflected in literature.
Thus in this research we aim to provide a practical change management procedure with the experiences of LL methodology which can help two domain of change management and LL methodology simultaneously where change management models can use the real experimentation practices of LL methodology based on user-centric paradigm and LL practices can be integrated in a well-structured methodology by testing in another managerial/scientific field like change management.
